Isaiah 44:8b – “Is there any God besides me, or is there any other Rock? I know of none.”

God is the one and only true God, our Rock. He is a firm foundation on which we base all of our thinking, security, safety, and issues of life. There is no other. He alone is sufficient for our every need. We ought not rely upon possessions or strengths or intellect or skills or friends or opinions or wealth or knowledge. That is a trap.

When all is stripped away, God alone is our Rock and there is no other. “I know of none”. May we be found to rely upon His acceptance and forgiveness and love. “You have done it.”
