Ministry Highlights

I put this simple slideshow together to highlight just a few of the events our worship arts teams put together over the years. It’s amazing how few photos and little video footage I have after 10 years of services and events. We were always a little too busy to stop and take pictures. The song I selected is one of my all time favorite songs because it helps keep the idea of success (which we had a lot of) in proper perspective.…

The Value of Weakness

Hebrews 5:2 – “He can deal gently with the ignorant and misguided, since he himself also is beset with weakness.”

How interesting it is that a significant qualification for the effectiveness and influence of a priest is a humble understanding and acceptance of their own weakness. Thus the servant of God is endowed with a humble gentleness and kindness when helping others with their weaknesses.…

How To Be Fruitful

2 Peter 1:8 – “For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

This is a promise for a useful and fruitful life in Christ. However, these qualities must first exist and then increase. They never reach perfection, but always have room for growth.…

Lori Moomey Interview

This is a video I produced to promote Dave’s Guitar Instruction. Lori is an excellent vocalist and playing guitar is just icing on the cake. I’m looking forward to seeing how her guitar playing skills accentuate her vocal abilities.…

Song Segment at Kids Camp

At this summer camp I had a great time leading and singing with the kids. I used backing tracks and this is one that the ministry was using on Sunday mornings so I incorporated it into the worship selection. I really enjoyed this song in particular.…

Worship at Lifepointe

When I first started working with Lifepointe Church in Wildwood, they hand just a handful of musicians, two of which were the pastor’s sons, Will and Caleb. We’ve since grown enough to have a rotation of teams. We’ve also improved the stage look with lighting and soft goods. We were having a good time with this song and Caleb made a great pass at the solo which is not easy to do.…

The Thoughts and Ways of God

Isaiah 55:8 – ” ‘For My thoughts are not your thoughts nor are your ways, My ways’ declares the Lord.”

God’s thoughts are infinitely more excellent than ours. His plans are perfect and pure. The things of God are foolishness to world’s wisest minds. For example, God has compassion on sinners and completely pardons them! This idea could never have entered the mind of man on its own.…

One of my all time favorite videos

I remember seeing this video for the first time. It brought me to tears. I still love to watch it. I am moved by it every time. I have always been a nature kind of a guy and I am just in awe of this world we live in (the nature part, that is).…

The Blameless Leader

1 Samuel 12:3 – “Here I am; bear witness against me before the Lord and His anointed. Whose ox have I taken, or whose donkey have I taken, or whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed, or from whose hand have I taken a bribe to blind my eyes with it? I will restore it to you.”

Samuel is about to pronounce a seething judgment against Israel for their incessant demand for a king to rule over them.…

Camp Topic Intro

I’ve taught or led worship for a number of kids camps over the years. I taught and led worship for this one. It was challenging but the topic of the week was fun to prep for. I recorded a couple sessions for my own review and development purposes.…
